Hair is something I’m offering in a very specific way.

I’m a makeup artist first, and I approach hair the same way I approach makeup: considered, clean, and not overworked. I’m focusing on a small selection of styles that sit really nicely alongside full glam makeup. Nothing complicated or crazy!

For special occasions, it’s a great add-on and honestly a lovely way to spend a bit more time with my clients during the getting-ready part. I really enjoy that slower, longer vibe together.

For select bridal bookings, hair can also be added where the style is something I’ve already done, the numbers are smaller, and the expectations are realistic. I’ll always be clear about what I do (and don’t) offer.

2025, unwrapped.

This year changed me.
It stretched me.
It softened me in some places and strengthened me in others.

I moved, rebuilt, questioned myself, trusted myself again, and quietly reshaped both my life and my business behind the scenes. There were moments of uncertainty, moments of pride, and a lot of learning in between. Most importantly, I kept showing up in the ways that mattered most.

1. Your dream artist won’t be the cheapest option.
You’re paying for experience in artistry, wedding mornings, pressure, timing, people skills and demand. Not just makeup on skin.

2. “Bridal makeup is only more expensive because it’s a wedding” is a limiting mindset.
That belief can quietly block you from a higher level of service; from artists who care deeply about their work, their process, and your experience.

3. If you shop purely on price, you often pay twice.
Once for the artist you booked.
Again when you realise they’re not the right fit.
Do your research. Book special occasion makeup. See how an artist works before committing to a bridal trial.

4. A good artist will ask questions, lots of them.
Skin. Preferences. Wear time. Photos. Expectations.
Questionnaires and consultations aren’t overkill: they’re how great results happen.
If you don’t want to engage with the process, this probably isn’t the service for you.

5. You’re not just booking makeup, you’re booking trust.

Wedding mornings don’t get stressful because of the makeup.
They get stressful when there’s no plan.

Who’s first.
How long each person actually needs.
What happens when someone runs late.

A lot of artists can apply makeup well.
Fewer are thinking about timings, flow, and how the whole morning needs to work.

While you’re in the chair, I’m keeping the plan on track so the morning stays so chilled you could fall asleep in that chair (I have been close to having this before😂)

That matters more than the makeup.

This is the difference between someone who applies makeup and someone who manages a wedding morning.

1. It’s not the products. It’s you.
Bad prep and heavy hands will ruin even the best makeup.

2. Stop asking for product recommendations when you don’t look after your skin.
Makeup can’t fix neglected skin.

3. Clean your brushes.
If your makeup looks muddy or your skin keeps breaking out… that’s why.

4. Waterproof mascara is not built for oily skin.
It smudges, transfers and lies to you. Tubing mascara doesn’t.

5. Those huge lashes aren’t doing what you think they’re doing.
If they hide your eye shape, they’re not flattering — just loud. (I had to learn this one the hard way)

What a whirlwind these last two years have been.✨
